At this time, we do not accept insurance. Sometimes, you are able to claim back fees directly from your provider, so please check this with your provider prior to booking with us.

Usually, two to three appointments are required. This includes a telephone appointment and an appointment face-to-face in our Bury St Edmunds clinic. 

Sometimes, we are able to conclude an assessment on the day of the face-to-face appointment. However, on occasion, additional information may be required before an outcome can be reached. If this is the case, we will let you know on the day and agree a plan. 

Our assessments and diagnostic reports are thorough, using evidence-based, NICE-recommended tools that are also used in the NHS. All assessments are conducted by experienced HCPC-registered clinicians. To date, our reports have been accepted by NHS and other statutory services. However, it is worth noting that all NHS services have their own procedures for reviewing and accepting reports. 

The Mosaic Clinic Ltd does not prescribe medications, as we are a Clinical Psychology led service. 

If you wish to explore medication, you will need a referral to a psychiatrist. You can approach your GP to discuss a NHS referral, or we can recommend a private provider. 

If you choose to see a psychiatrist privately, please be aware that you will need to cover the costs of their consultation, any follow-up appointments, and ongoing medication prescriptions. 

Decisions regarding medication are entirely separate from our assessment process and remain at the discretion of the prescribing psychiatrist. It is likely that the psychiatrist will need to conduct their own checks before determining whether medication is appropriate for you or your child. Our assessment does not include a medical evaluation, which is typically required before starting treatment.
